CM Kisan Kalyan Yojana MP 2026: Benefits, Eligibility, Installment and Status
Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana is Madhya Pradesh’s State income-support programme for eligible farmers, designed alongside PM-KISAN. Under the current State structure, eligible beneficiaries receive ₹6,000 per year from Madhya Pradesh in instalments, in addition to the central PM-KISAN support for farmers who remain eligible under both schemes.
The scheme relies on farmer and land data maintained through the State revenue/agriculture system and the PM-KISAN-linked beneficiary base. In 2026, the SAARA portal remains the important public route for checking beneficiary and payment status. Farmers should therefore keep Aadhaar, bank, PM-KISAN and land records consistent instead of creating repeated applications when an instalment is delayed.

What Is CM Kisan Kalyan Yojana?
The scheme provides an additional State transfer to eligible Madhya Pradesh farmers. It does not replace PM-KISAN. Instead, the State support and central support are separate DBT payments that together increase annual income assistance for farmers who satisfy both sets of conditions.
The exact release date of State instalments is decided by Madhya Pradesh. A delay between two payments does not by itself mean the farmer has lost eligibility, but the beneficiary should check SAARA when a payment announced for others does not appear in the bank account.
Who Is Eligible?
- Eligible farmers recorded in Madhya Pradesh and linked with the PM-KISAN beneficiary framework.
- Farmer/land records must be verified in the State revenue database.
- Aadhaar, bank and beneficiary data should match.
- The farmer should not fall within a PM-KISAN exclusion category used for the linked beneficiary base.
- Beneficiary status should remain active after State verification.
How Much Is Paid?
- Current annual State assistance: ₹6,000.
- Instalment size: ₹2,000 under the current structure.
- The payment is separate from the central PM-KISAN instalments.
- A farmer eligible under both schemes can receive ₹6,000 State support plus ₹6,000 PM-KISAN during the year.
- Release dates are announced by the State and can differ from PM-KISAN dates.
Documents and Records to Keep Ready
- Aadhaar card.
- PM-KISAN ID/registration details.
- Madhya Pradesh land record and farmer details.
- Bank passbook/account number used for DBT.
- Mobile number.
- Any revenue mutation/correction document where land ownership has changed.
Is a Separate Fresh Application Always Needed?
The scheme is integrated with the State farmer/revenue and PM-KISAN data system. Many beneficiaries are identified through the verified records rather than through a repeated standalone application every year. A farmer missing from the active list should first find the data problem in SAARA/PM-KISAN and correct the underlying record.
How to Check Beneficiary and Installment Status
- Open the official SAARA Madhya Pradesh portal.
- Choose the Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana beneficiary/status option.
- Search using the permitted identifier such as Aadhaar number, bank account number or PM-KISAN ID.
- Review beneficiary status and instalment/payment entries.
- If the status is inactive or details are wrong, contact the concerned Patwari/revenue or agriculture office with the supporting records.
- After correction, recheck SAARA rather than creating a duplicate farmer identity.
Why an Installment May Be Missing
- PM-KISAN or State beneficiary status is inactive.
- Aadhaar/e-KYC has not been completed or does not match.
- Land record/mutation is pending.
- Bank account is inactive or not correctly mapped for DBT.
- The farmer’s name differs across Aadhaar, land record and bank records.
- The beneficiary has entered an exclusion category or is under re-verification.
- The State has not yet released that instalment for the relevant cycle.
What to Do When Status Shows Inactive
- Check the exact reason shown or recorded by the local revenue system.
- Complete PM-KISAN e-KYC if pending.
- Correct Aadhaar/name/bank mismatch.
- Update land mutation or ownership details through the revenue office.
- Ask the Patwari/competent local office to verify the farmer record after correction.
- Keep copies of correction acknowledgements until the beneficiary status becomes active.
CM Kisan Kalyan vs PM-KISAN
Both schemes provide income support, but they are different government transfers. PM-KISAN is funded by the Union Government, while Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana is the Madhya Pradesh State top-up. A beneficiary should track each scheme separately even though the eligibility data is closely linked.
